Pharmaceutical manufacturers have traditionally relied on manual systems or disconnected software solutions to manage their complex operations.
WHY ?
User research, competitive analysis revealed various pain points in the existing system which includes
Difficulty in tracking inventory across multiple locations
Complex approval workflows slowing down operations
Lack of real-time visibility into sales and production metrics
HOW ?
Access priority data at the first instance enabled by including action items in home page.
Transparent and streamlined approval process was enabled by displaying request initiated time, initiator, approver details and deadline for approval.
Decreased discrepancies in data by tailored data view and role based access.
Easy data retrieval and maintenance enabled through activity log for both financial and non-financial transactions.
Improved understanding and provided context for pending approvals and rejections though adding comments section in the approval page.
Easy access of extensive and long forms was enabled through Anchor links.
